| XLV750R Hello, Welcome to Japan and my website. The trout will be everywhere if it is the river of Aomori Pref. Yet, there is upstream. Now Japan is the worst time. Because, it is hottest the water temperature is high. However, you do not have time. I do not know the details of Aomori Pref. I am seeing a map now. So, I will go to Oirase-gawa River if I am. There is the periphery of a Towadako-Onsen hot spring. There be about one hour by a car from Misawa. I recommend that carries a water thermometer. If the water temperature is 17C or less there is possibility. If you are fortunate Iwana (Char) and Yamame (Landlocked salmon) are able to angle. Yet the trout of Japan is small. In any event, there is a rapid current with upstream. However, it is small-scale than you are imagining. It is easy to pass into the opposite bank, even if I say rapid current. The river of Japan is really narrower in comparison with USA. Please consult the photograph that following links. Iwana , Ohtorigawa Riv. , Nakagawa Riv. , Aganogawa Riv. There may be more small-scale. Now, the fly is terrestrial insect. It be ant, hopper. Size is #10 to #14 sometimes #18. The body of peacock is good. It is black and brown. Elkhair caddis, Adams parachute, etc. Because the spot is small the accuracy is necessary. The periphery of the white foam of a small waterfall. However, the long cast is unnecessary. Please input it many times. The mountain stream of Japan suddenly rises at the time of rain because it is narrow. Also, please pay attention summer to a poisonous insect. It is a mosquito and bee. The license is necessary every a river. It is about \1000/day. Many Japanese is poor at English. However, it will pass with you say ''Fishing license" if you have fishing rod and with the clothes of fishing. A young person will understand. As for in most of the rivers of Aomori Pref. fishing seems to be produced to end of September from March. Even many rivers of Japan are similar. The license of the river of Aomori is about \400/day.
