| Hanako is the typical first-name of a Japanese woman. Yet, as for the present,
there are not so many Ms. Hanako. It is the old days a little. Incidentally
the male is Taro. So, it is similar as "Mary had a little lamb" and "Mickey Mouse" etc. We call Yamame-fish "she". In May in a certain year I went to the Katsuragawa Riv. I had a holiday for 3 days. I went to the same pool and same point 3rd. And it is the same fish probably. And the last chance in the last day, I was able to tempt her but lost it right away..... I named her with Hanako. Although she is neat it is also the experience abundant jade. She was a hatchery graduate and experienced many crises from the juvenile time. There is the rumor that she knows the model No. of the hook? She is linked doubt even the insect of the real thing. Patiently seeing it it confirms, hook, gape, tippet...... The river of Japan is narrow and small-scale. However, there are very many fishermen and Catch and Rerease is not a mainstream yet. In opening immediately before the manager releases the adult trout from hatchery. And many fishermen keep it. However, in fall the manager releases the young fish from hatchery. It is about 2 inches. A part of manager releases even the eyed egg. These grow to 7 inches in the spring in next year and become Hanako. And it becomes super Hanako of over 9 inches that crisis avoidance is produced until next year. This is a minority very much. And it becomes ultra Hanako of over 12 inches in next year. This is rare and the trophy and, this is "Shaku-fish". I continue to aim for her with a dry fly. |
